Media & Content Campaign:
Hulu’s History of the World: Part 2
To accompany a short-flight media flight on The Onion, I pitched and produced a native content campaign (comprised of four pieces of native content and a custom media unit) promoting Hulu’s History of the World: Part 2, Mel Brooks’ raucous and much-anticipated sequel to 1981’s classic screwball satire History of the World: Part 1. The articles included:
Shirley Chisholm Proves that Behind Every Great Woman, There’s a Dude Who Needs to Shut Up
Post-Revolution Russian Government Splurged on Takeout, Only to be Thwarted by the Delivery Man
What Got General Grant Through the Last Days of the Civil War? The Promise of Getting Sh*tfaced
Sexlicious! Original Version of the Kama Sutra Contained Recipe Pairings
Along with the articles, I worked with our design team to assemble an interactive media unit allowing our audience to learn more about the show’s leads. Using hotspot technology, users could hover over the three principal characters in the show’s key art for additional background and snappy messaging.
